Nautic Charters

Our charter boat M.V. Nautic Encounter will allow you to explore the beautiful islands of the Hauraki Gulf and beyond, whether it is fishing, diving, a day or extended charters. Our vision is to provide a world class experience which encompasses the unparalleled experiences we have enjoyed for many years in the exquisite playgound of the East Coast of New Zealand. Every day on the water is uniquely different. It is not unusual to encounter Dolphins or Whales and the myriad of sea birds and marine life will be evident to making a trip out a memorable and enjoyable experience. World class fishing, diving / snorkeling experiences, magnificent scenery, marine life and the nautical experience of our eco system is unparalleled, and on our doorstep just an hour or two away.

Nautic Encounter is a 50 foot hand crafted vessel offering total confidence in its well recognised design and construction, built for Pacific Ocean cruising and passage. The huge cockpit enables wonderful flexibility from fishing up to 12 pax, or entertaining up to 25 pax. No impediments in the cockpit allow unfettered use, a rare find in cruises indeed.

For meeting the spacious saloon with its relaxed warmth or the large flybridge will meet most needs.

 

 

Fishing / Charters

Choose a trip fishing, diving, sport fishing, bbq's for your social group, team building or celebrations. Fish up to 12 pax, entertain up to 25 pax. Minimum numbers apply.

We do half days, full days, evening and overnight trips. Fishing rods and tackle are available to hire and we can supply bait or soft plastics. Catering is available.

We are berthed at Gulf Harbour but can pick up from Auckland or arrange shuttle from your doorstep to ours. No parking issues, no drink driving issues and in some instances, we can send you and your guests home with filleted fish ready for the bbq plus if after a good catching day and if you want some smoked and packed, we can arrange that. Nothing nicer than smoked snapper pie.
