We are located across the road from Little Manly Beach which is a safe beach for swimming, sailing, Kayaking, and Fishing. We are close to all amenities which provides the holidaymaker or business client the ideal home away from home. We have direct dial access and high speed broadband wireless internet.
We have 12 Studio Suites, some with Spa Baths, Disabled Units, 1 bedroom Family Unit and our 1 bedroom Executive Suite.
Our 3-bedroom cottage is located immediately adjacent to us with large outdoor deck and lawn area great for larger groups and families.
Our business conference and reception area is available for up to 30 people, offering all the requirements for your event coupled with the relaxing environment offered by this great location.
Our new on site cafe "Sails Cafe on Little Manly Beach" will give you the opportunity to sample some exquisite New Zealand Seafood, and the opportunity to sample some of NZs finest wines especially selected.
Not only this, we operate Hauraki Gulf fishing expeditions offering some of the best light tackle sport fishing in the world, and just 5 minutes from the Lodge. 30 - 90 minutes can put us on the best fishing areas with October being the normal commencement of our season.
Coupled with great fishing, Gulf Harbour Country Club offers a world class Golf Course - in fact, the home of the World Cup some years back. Another 8 Golf Courses are located within a relatively short drive from Whangaparaoa Lodge. We can also arrange excursions to some of the further afield courses of world renown, such as Kauri Cliffs, Wairakei or Cape Kidnappers.
Within a short drive of the Lodge, we are fortunate to be able to experience some great wineries and the food experiences which goes with them along with many other attractions, all enhanced by being away from the city but close enough for easy access to all the activities which will be available at this exciting time.

Our "New" Cafe has one of the best views of any cafe on the Hibiscus Coast. Looking out to the Hauraki Gulf, the large deck offers a relaxed environment to enjoy a coffee, breakfast, lunch or dinner, a glass of wine or a cold beer or a fresh baked sweet treat from the cabinet, or sit inside the more intimate cafe area while still admiring the view. Several seafood dishes feature on the menu which is contemporary and seasonal.
Evening dining commencing from October 5th with a focus on NZ Seafood, Lamb, and Beef designed by our Award Winning Chef 'Doug Wilson'.
Now the days are longer and warmer, a long cold Ale or Wine on the deck, a calm evening, views to enjoy and savour, our Signature Dish - 'A Stunning Fresh Seafood Platter'.

ACTIVITIES
Spend a day at Tiritiri Matangi Island Wildlife Bird Sanctuary. Take the short ferry ride from Gulf Harbour and enjoy this precious jewel set in the Hauraki Gulf.
If it's fishing, a day on the water sightseeing where you may encounter dolphins or whales and the myriad of sea birds and marine life. Get a group together and take a trip on our charter boat M.V. Nautic Encounter.

Whangaparaoa Lodge is just 35 minutes drive from Auckland CBD and located across the road from the picturesque Little Manly Beach.
We are centrally located and just a short drive from Gulf Harbour Marina, Shakespeare Regional Park, Snow Planet, Silverdale Factory shops, Whangaparaoa Leisure Centre at Stanmore Bay, Waiwera Hot Pools.
Shopping
Whangaparaoa Plaza is approximately 1 kilometer away and Manly Village with ladies fashions, shoe shops, hairdressers, beauty therapy, plus convenience stores is all within walking distance.
Just 45 minutes drive will take you to the busy township of Warkworth and onto Matakana Village with the famous farmers markets (open Saturdays), Morris and James Pottery and sample some of the food and wines on the Matakana Wine Trail.
